1. Who we are

keepsie is a trading name of LIRIS TECHNOLOGIES LTD, company number 15882599, registered at Tec Marina, Terra Nova Way, Penarth CF64 1SA, United Kingdom. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Questions and requests: [email protected].

2. What we collect

• Photos you upload, used to create your toy design.
• Order details: your name, email address and shipping address, collected at checkout.
• Payment: handled entirely by Stripe. We receive confirmation that you paid and the last part of your card number for support purposes, never your full card details.
• Technical data: IP address and basic request logs, used for security and to enforce fair-use limits on free previews.
• Cookies and similar: see section 7. Your created toys and cart live in your own browser's storage, not on our servers.

3. Your photos, specifically

Photos are the most personal thing you give us, so here is exactly what happens to them. Your photos are stored securely and used only to create your toy design and, if you order, your printed figurine. To do that they are processed by the AI providers listed in section 5 acting on our instructions. Your original photos are never published, never shown to other customers, never used in our marketing, and never sold. The preview design we generate is shown only to people who have your private link.

If you want your photos and designs deleted, email [email protected] and we will remove them.

4. Why we process your data (lawful bases)

• To provide the service (contract): creating your preview, taking payment, printing and shipping your figurine, and emailing you about your order.
• With your consent: the optional Meta Pixel marketing cookie (section 7). You can withdraw consent at any time.
• Legitimate interests: preventing fraud and abuse, securing our systems, and improving the product.
• Legal obligation: keeping order and tax records.

5. Who we share data with

We share data only with the service providers we need to run keepsie, each acting under contract:

• Stripe (payments): your payment details and billing information.
• Cloudflare (secure file storage): your photos and generated designs.
• Google (AI image generation) and Tripo (3D model generation): your photos and designs, to create your toy.
• Brevo (email): your name and email address, to send order emails.
• Our printing partner: the finished 3D design and your shipping name and address, to print and deliver your figurine.
• Meta (advertising measurement): only if you accept the marketing cookie, as described in section 7.

Some of these providers are based outside the UK. Where data leaves the UK we rely on UK adequacy decisions or standard contractual safeguards (the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or Addendum).

6. How long we keep things

• Photos and designs: kept while your project is active so you can reorder, and deleted on request at any time.
• Order records: kept for 6 years, as required for UK tax and accounting.
• Technical logs: kept for a short rolling period.

7. Cookies and the Meta Pixel

We keep this minimal. Essential storage (your cart and your list of created toys) lives in your browser and is not used for tracking. The only marketing technology we use is the Meta Pixel, which helps us understand whether our ads work. It sets Meta cookies and sends Meta standard event data, such as pages viewed and checkout steps reached; see Meta's privacy policy for how they use it. We do not send Meta your photos.

You can opt out of this measurement by blocking third-party cookies in your browser, through Meta's ad preferences, or by emailing us.

8. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests or withdraw consent. Email [email protected] and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

9. Children

Our service is for adults (18+). Photos of children may only be uploaded by their parent or legal guardian.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time by posting the new version on this page, and for significant changes we will tell you by email if we have your address.
