1. Who we are

keepsie is a trading name of LIRIS TECHNOLOGIES LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 15882599, with its registered office at Tec Marina, Terra Nova Way, Penarth CF64 1SA, United Kingdom ("we", "our" or "us"). You can reach us at [email protected].

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and your purchase of keepsie figurines. By using our website or placing an order you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of them, please do not use our services.

2. What keepsie is

keepsie turns photos you upload into a custom collectible figurine. When you upload one or more photos, we generate a stylised toy design (your "Preview") using AI image tools. If you place an order, we turn the approved design into a physical, full-colour 3D printed figurine approximately 10 cm (4 inches) tall (your "Figurine") and ship it to you. Every Figurine is made to order, just for you, from the photos you provide.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use our services. By using our services you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

4. Your photos

By uploading photos you confirm that:

• you own the photos or have all necessary rights and permissions to use them and to let us use them as described in these Terms;
• where a photo shows an identifiable person other than you, you have that person's permission (or, for a child in your care, you are their parent or legal guardian);
• the photos do not infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or publicity rights, and are not unlawful, obscene or otherwise objectionable.

You grant us a licence to store and process your photos solely to create your Preview and Figurine, including sharing them with the third-party AI and printing providers we use for that purpose. Your original photos are never published, shown to other customers, or used in our marketing. See our Privacy Policy for details of how photos are handled and how to have them deleted.

We may decline to process any photo, and cancel and refund any order, where we reasonably believe these confirmations are not met.

5. Previews and your Figurine

Your Preview is an artistic, stylised interpretation of your photo, not a replica. The physical Figurine is produced from the Preview and will closely match it, but as a handmade-to-order printed object it can show minor differences: colours can vary slightly with printing materials, and very fine details may be simplified or gently thickened so the Figurine is strong enough to survive printing and shipping. These variations are part of the product, not defects.

Previews are free and nothing is printed or charged until you place an order.

6. Orders, price and payment

The price for a Figurine is shown at checkout and includes shipping to the destinations we offer. Payment is taken at the time of order and is processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. A contract between us forms when we email you an order confirmation.

We may cancel an order and issue a full refund if we cannot produce a printable Figurine from your photos, if we believe an order breaches section 4, or if there was an obvious pricing error. If a design cannot be printed we will usually contact you first to try a different photo.

7. Delivery

Each Figurine is printed on demand. Typical timing is 3 to 5 days for printing plus 10 to 14 days for delivery, depending on your location. Timings are estimates, not guarantees, though we will always let you know if something is significantly delayed. Risk in the Figurine passes to you on delivery.

8. Cancellations, returns and the love-it guarantee

Because every Figurine is made to your personal specification from your own photos, the usual 14-day cancellation right for online purchases does not apply to Figurines (regulation 28(1)(b) of the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013).

That said, we want you to love your keepsie:

• Before printing starts, you can cancel for a full refund. Email [email protected] as soon as possible; if your Figurine has not entered production we will refund you in full.
• Love-it guarantee: if your Figurine arrives and it does not make you smile, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will work with you to make it right, which may mean a reprint or a refund at our discretion.
• Faulty, damaged or not as described: nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If your Figurine arrives damaged or faulty we will replace it or refund you.

9. Marketing use of designs

We may use Previews and photographs of finished Figurines (never your original uploaded photos) as marketing material to promote keepsie, for example in paid advertising, on our website and in social media posts. You may opt out at any time by emailing [email protected] with the subject line "Marketing Opt-Out" and a link to the design concerned. Opt-out requests apply going forward: we will remove the affected designs from our owned channels within 30 calendar days and will not use them in new campaigns.

10. Intellectual property

You keep all rights in your photos. We (or our licensors) own all rights in our website, branding, software, and the design processes used to create Previews and Figurines. You may share your Preview images personally and non-commercially (they are your toy, show them off), but you may not resell Previews or Figurine designs or use them commercially without our written consent.

11. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use our services for any illegal or unauthorised purpose;
• upload photos of people without the permission described in section 4, or photos that are unlawful or infringing;
• interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our services, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems;
• use automated means to create previews in bulk or to circumvent our fair-use limits.

12. Our liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be excluded or limited under the law of England and Wales.

Subject to that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made, losses not caused by our breach, or business losses (we supply Figurines for private use only). Our total liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the price you paid for that order. The free preview service is provided "as is" and we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes may be brought in the courts of England and Wales; if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts. Nothing in this section limits your statutory consumer rights.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time by posting the new version on this page. The version in force when you place an order is the one that applies to that order.
